❥A Brand New Day Is Always A Brand New Start

When you were all alone at home one day, the lights suddenly went off. There were no lights. You were in a state of total darkness. You started to wonder why. You looked out your home's window. Other households' lights were on. Some were enjoying the television programmes. Some were having family gathering. Some were having party. Some were just like you, in total darkness. You cant see what they are doing as the lights are off.

You wanted to get out of the house and ask your neighbours what exactly had happened but you could not find the keys. You wanted to find your torch light and tried to find the keys, but the torch was not working. You tried to find candles and lit with your lighter, the wind blew off the flame instantly. You tried to use your cell phone and house telephone to call out but all were not working. You dropped to the floor feeling exhausted and tired. You felt so helpless. You actually gave up. You cried in fear. You lost hope.

Suddenly the lights resumed to normal. You heard a familiar voice calling you. You saw her standing in front of you asking, "Why arent you switching on your lights?"

You replied with tears, "I feel so helpless, the lights are not working." When you looked up, you realised there was no one around. The lights were actually still off. You stood up, and tried to switch on the lights, but it was still not working.

You let out a huge sigh, you started to feel giddy. You are confused of what actually happened. You went back to your bedroom and sleep. You tossed around your bed but you couldn't get to sleep. You opened your eyes and saw her smiling to you at the corner. "Why aren't you asleep?"

You replied weakly, "I can't sleep; my mind is in a whirl now."

Your favourite song played at your living room out of nowhere. You saw Freedom and Loneliness sitting at your living room. Both looked at you and asked "What is your decision?"

You stood rooted to the ground and were dumbstruck. You could not make up your mind. However, some unknown force entered you and you replied,

"When I chose to give up Freedom, Loneliness found me."
"However, Loneliness told me, that I'm not meant to be."
"When I wanted Freedom back but Freedom isn't with me."
"But Freedom told me, that it's too strong for me."
"I'm caught in the middle of Freedom and Loneliness"
"I... I... don't know..."
"I only need one"
"I can only have one"

They ask you, why will you ever choose Loneliness? You can't answer as you have been lonely for so long. However, you want Freedom now. You feel Freedom suits you more and you are happier with Freedom but you know somehow, Freedom will always think it's too strong for you.

You conclude. You know it need two elements to agree with each other before something will actually succeed. In the end, you finally realise that why you chose Freedom now instead of Loneliness.
