Reunion(10)

Jane heard Long’s voice and wanted to run but she was grabbed by Long.

"Please... Its hurts... let me go..."

"NO... I won’t let you go again."

"Im sorry, I din mean to... to leave you."

"Im not blaming you, I have a lot to tell you. Please..."

Jane turned around and faced Long with guilt. She doesn’t dare to face him and kept her head down. Long without hesitation, hug her inside his arms. Jane felt so warmth and cried. So did Long. Both haven met for nearly a year and they met for the first time in close distance.

"I really missed you a lot..." Long whispered into Jane’s ear. Jane did not respond as she was too tired.

"OIE!! You two want to stand there until the sunset is it... Come in la!!!!" Mrs. Lee demanded.

So the couple went into the house and they shared their stories ever since they parted nearly 1 year ago.

"So do you mean, Rin and you are just merely friends? I thought you and her that day..."

"Huh? You’ve seen us?"

"Oh nothing..." Jane turned her head away and smile inside herself. As she always thought that Long had forgotten her. Jane began to panic and asked Long,

"Aren’t you angry with me, for what I did with Jon?"

"Don’t worry, I know Jon, he's a man of his word. I know he likes you from the very start but Im lucky to get you as my girlfriend."

The couple began to chat till the very night and Jane was too tired to go home.

"You stayed over here for the night ok? You looked tired. You can have my bed. I will sleep at the living room."

"But..."

"It’s alright dear. Sleep now... come... close your eyes..."

Jane closed her eyes as requested.

"That’s my girl."

Long laid forward and kiss Jane’s lips gently. When he turned around, he saw his mum with folded arm staring at him.

"Erm... mum... I can explain..."

Mrs. Lee gave him a smile and turn back to her room. Long stood there speechlessly and was surprised that his mum smile to him.

Back at Rin’s home earlier on

"Gor, is everything ready?"
"Yeah! It’s all ready."
"Erm… Are u leaving already?"
"Oh ya… I have a meeting this coming afternoon, I need to prepare."
"Hmm. I guess its ok."
"Why my dear sister? You seem troubled."
"Actually, I need someone accompany to the beach. But I can go alone, so its ok"

Rin gave a Yang a wide smile and punch him lightly.

"Erm .. Never mind Rin, I can go with you, the meeting can go without me, I just give them a call."

"You sure? But..."

"Since when you become so naggy? Let's go."

Yang pushed Rin at the back and they went off for the beach.

At the beach

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Rin shouted out loudly and smile. She sat down exhaustedly.

"Look at those birds, freedom... fly... so nice..."

Yang just merely responded with a smile. He was thinking about his past with Xue.

"Why? Still thinking of Xue?" Rin giggled and looked at Yang.

Yang shook his head and replied yes to her.

"Huh? Why you shook your head and say yes? U had gone crazy?"

Rin laughed and started to disturb Yang. Yang remain as stone as usual. He is not sad over Xue but he is merely thinking about the gal(Jane) he saw at friendster. He found her very special. He just cant stop thinking about her.

The two god-siblings lament out their hearts at the beach and soon the dawn falls.

"Hey erm... Rin do you know Jane? I found her quite special you know..."

Yang turned around and saw Rin dozing off. He smiled and continue to gaze at the sea.

"Long!!"

Long turned around and saw Rin approaching him.

"Hey... good morning!"
Rin punched on Long’s back.

"Hi Rin... you came just in time, I got a good news for you! Know what? Yesterday Jane came back! Im so happy..."

Rin was startled by Long’s news. She did not know whether she should be happy or angry. She was in dazed when Long waved at her face.

"Hello?? Are you there?"

Rin woke up by his voice and replied

"Oh ya ya. So you have your breakfast? Wana join me?"

Rin pretended to be strong though something sharp is piercing her heart.

"Er. Sorry im afraid that I have to go and meet Jane. Next time ok?"

Long Pat Rin head and left the place. Rin was still lost of what to do. She was just too involved herself into this feeling. She gazed at the screen of the computer for the whole day. She started to feel lonely again. She knew she will never get back to those days where she can be with Long.

"Rin... You alright? You seems troubled wor."

Kel was one of Rin’s poly mates. He appeared behind her, trying to find out what happened to her.

"Oh er... ya... im fine... just kind of tired..."
"Oh ok. Better be fine ok? Anything can look upon me. I have a good pair of eeeeaaaarssssiiiiiii!!!"

Kel was also the clown of the class. He never failed to bring a smile to anyone who is facing stress in studies or any problems. Kel began to do a snake pose and a stupid face for Rin to see. Of course, Rin giggled.

"Yeah! That’s my girl! Stay cute yeah..."

Kel laughed and went back to his seats. Rin laughter is just short termed. She was wondering how to face Long and Jane when they both are holding hands together. It just breaks her heart too much.

Back at her home, she was all alone again. She maybe too tired to think much. She lied on her bed and doze off shortly......

"No please!! Don’t leave me!!! You cannot die..."
"I... I... Im sorry...”
"NO!!!! Everything will be alright!!!!"

Long’s hand fell off Rin’s arm. Long has stop breathing.........


"NO!!!!"

Rin woke up and realized its all a dream. She was in cold sweat and breathing very hard......
