Lost(Part 1)

"Hey Jane... wait!...."

"Your things...... u 4get to take...."

"thanks..... we will meet 2ml alright?"

"we will see..... got to rush... sorry... bye..."
Long left.... and Jane was left distraught. She look upon as Long's back view get smaller and smaller.. She wondered when she will be able to see him again...

On the way to her home... she look around her void deck... scenes of her memories appeared in front of her.....

She cant helped but cry.... her legs were very weak... she could not feel anything happening around her. She took out her handphone and decided to call Long.... she wanted to tell him how much she loves him...

"No i cant.... i cant..." She thought inside her... Soon she fell into a deep sleep.....

"Jane... Jane...."

She felt someone pushing her... she slowly open her eyes... and saw yang...

"R u ok? y r u sitting here? come i bring u home..."

"No... i dont wana go home... I cant face my family... not even myself... anymore"

"Come... i take you to a place...." yang insisted... And he grabbed her hand and lead her to the place.

they reached the place... Jane is dumbstrucked. She could not really feel how shes really feeling now. She felt this place very familiar. She was here before some how... some time....
"why.... wh..y r u taking me here for?" jane is totally confused... her head started to feel the pain...

"Take your time to recall.... You were here 1 year ago... remember??"

Jane looked around with confusion and she kept recalling back... She looked into yang's eyes.... like she seems to find out something......

" Its him!!! Jane.... Cant u remember? He Is the one who did this to you... Why?? Why you still dont believe??? this is the place!!!" yang responded with anger....

"Dont say anymore!!!! I had enough!! This is hard to accept... I cant remember!! Sorrie im very tired now.... can you brin me to your place? i dont wana go home..."

"sorrie... i guess im too harsh... i will bring u to my place.... u stay there for a night ba.. i will stay at jon's home... I will help u find out the truth with..."

upon reaching... yang's home...

"Anything give me a call.. take care and haf a gd rest..." Jane gave him a weak smile and soon yang left jane at his place...

Jane took out a mirror and she was too afraid.... too scared... She slowly placed the mirror in front of her face............

"Clang!!!!!" the mirror shattered as it slips through jane' hands..........................................



Mood Breaker(part 2)

Long was walking along the side of the road.. He is feeling so nervous of the outcome.. As he turns his head.. he saw her coming... he took a deep breath and approached her..."jane... erm... can.. can.. i... erm.." Long stumbled.."erh... ya??" Jane replied Long shyly.."no.... i just wished to erm.... say hi to u!" Long finally say out his words but not really what he wana say...."oh hi..." Jane left him wif a shy smile alone at the corridor the lecture hall.. He watched on as jane and her friends giggling away at his stupidous act. He looked at the movie tickets on his hands and walked away with sadness and embarrassement.

Back at home... long looked at the class photos they took during secondary sch... Jane is still so special in his heart. He tried various times to ask her out but all in vain. He started to ask himself why he could not have that courage all the time....

"Si Gin NA! COME AND EAT R! EVERYDAY COME HOME LOCK INSIDE DUN KW DO WAT! EAT R! KIN LA!"

"OK! Dun nagged can a not? i will be out soon...."

"Ringggg Rinnggggg""Hello.... may i speak to Long please?"

"yes i am.. u r?"

"im jane's friend... she ask me to inform u that she wana date u out 2ml .. and she hopes tat u will be free.. outside Tampines Mall @12pm.. bye"

Before Long could say anithing.. the line was cut... He could not believe his ears... jane is asking him out after 1 year of rejection. He dont know whether its true,,, but he is still very happy over it.He couldnt sleep tat nite.. tossing around the bed.. thinking wat might happen the very next day... he kept imagine jane's smile in his mind..

"OI!!! SI GIN NA! SLEEP DUN SLEEP! SMILE FOR WAT!!? SIAO R?" her mum appeared at his room and scolded him for nothing. Soon.. he pretended to be asleep but his mind is full of jane'everything.

As its his first date wif jane... he dun kw wat to wear and to present himself.. he just simply wear a t shirt and jeans...."hi Long... sorry to keep u waiting!" Jane apologised as she tapped his shoulder. Long was dumbstrucked as he sees a different jane before him. Shes wearing a long pink dress...

"ERm u ok?"" jane waved at Long's face..

"oh nthn nthn... just tat u look nice in this dress.." Soon they bought the movie tickets and went in for the show... Its a horror movie as Long thought tats the latest movie. As the show starts.. Jane was feeling rather frightened. She stayed very close to Long... putting her arm over Long...

Long was so happy.. he couldnt believe what he is seeing and feeling now... Suddenly jane screamed and Long was awaken by her scream.. Long was not watching the movie.. He is merely enjoying the spaces he got btw jane.It was too dark.. Jane was too afraid to watch and Long dun kw wat to do so he decided to hold her hands just to keep her calm...To his surprise and delight... Jane did not reject... as the shows rolls on, the holding of their hands get tighter and tighter...
finally the show is over.. Long and Jane's hands are still together.. both dun wana let go... Out of nowhere.........

"SI GIN NA!!! GO OUT and date gal never tell mum huh!!! Think ur mum dun kw???"Long was shocked as he saw his mum standing behind the seats they are sitting..................






Anger(part 3)

“MUM! Can u please let me off? I had enough!!!”

“How dare you asking for favor to me!? I’m your mum! U have to listen to me!” Long’s mum was fuming with anger.

“Please.. Im already 19 years old, can you please don’t treat me like a kid?? I had already grown up! Please let me have freedom… I like Jane… You have no authority to control my life, especially my love life!”

Long shouted back at his mum and left the home. Long had never had a dispute with her mum before. He always was the one giving in to his mum despite of her unreasonable demands. Mrs. Lee, Long’s mum is dumbstruck over her son’s action. She had never seen his son rebel over her demand before.

“come on…… pick up the phone… come on Jane…. Please….” Long was desperate waiting for Jane to pick up the phone. He wanted to explain everything to her…. He wanted to apologize to her for ruin the first date of theirs.

Long tried but in vain…. Jane did not pick up the phone. He felt very miserable and terrible, he began to think a lot….. Soon he felt asleep at the void deck of his home.
A few hours later, he felt something touching him. He slowly opened up his eyes and he saw Jane in front of him. He quickly pick up his weak body and say hi to her.

“Why are u here?” erm.. im so….so….”

Jane put her finger on Long’s lips to stop him from apologizing.

“I understand your problems. You do not need to apologize to me.” Jane gives Long a wide smile and Long felt his rock in his heart gone eventually.

“Erm, you haven tell me why you are here. And how do u know Im here, and…..”

“Hello my boy.. how u expect me to answer so many questions at one go?”

“Oh, im sorry…”

Long began to blush as he lets Jane continue the conversation.

“Actually I know your mum, but she doesn’t know me. Your Mum and my Dad are ex schoolmates. So I guess I know you are living here. My dad always shows me photos of his past and I can recognize your mum. Your mum is still beautiful as before.”

“She is still as beautiful as before?!? I hope I never heard the wrong thing. She had never give me a freedom life before. Since young, I had been living under her cage. Ever since my……”

The conversation goes on and the couple, pours out their problems till the very next morning. Soon, Long walked Jane home and Jane asked him a for a last favor of the night.

“Can you close your eyes? I mean… just for 5 sec?” Jane asked Long. Long agreed and close his eyes. Jane leaned forward and gave him a slight peck on his cheek.

“Good night and thanks for sending me home.” Jane smiled and waved to him as the lift door closes… Long still could not believe what Jane did to him. He stood rooted outside the lift door for a few minutes. Until suddenly…..

“eh… eh… ah boy… excuse me hor… is there something pasted on the lift door? Why are u smiling to the door?

When Long regain his conscious, he turned his head around and saw 1 family of 5 people glaring at him. He realized he had been such a clown. He quickly apologized and left the place as quickly as possible.

On his way home, he kept enjoying the moment where Jane and himself shared. Maybe its just a short few hours, but to him, he is already very satisfied. He was thinking of another date with Jane. But somehow he does not have the courage to do so.

“Si Gin Na! Satsified to come back liao r? Want to eat a not? I cook your dinner you know? I warmed it up for you hor k!”

Long did not response but he still can feel his mum concerning about him. He sat down and he could actually feel the aroma of his mum’s cookings.

Grief(Part 4)

A few months later, everything goes well for both Long and Jane. Everyday, the first thing Long will do is to do is to find Jane and chat. However, today was different, Long waited at the platform which he always do for Jane. It’s already 9am, but she did not show up. He called Jane’s up for several times but in vain, and he is starting to get nervous and worried.

He skipped his lessons and went to search for Jane. He been to the places they always go but still Jane is nowhere to be seen. He do not know what to do. He went home very disappointed and went back to his room and daze waiting for Jane to return his call.

“knock, knock…” Theres a knock on the his bedroom door, he knew it was his mum, he ignored her and pretend to be asleep. Mrs Lee entered and put a slip of paper on his table and left the room quietly. Long found it weird this time, as his mum did not make up a din upon entering his room. As he always knew, his mum’s voice will reach his bedroom before herself does.

He quickly picked up his body and went to take tat slip of paper his mum which had left on his table.

Dear Long…

I believed you had been waiting at the school for me but in vain. But I’m sincerely had to go… I mean…. I don’t mean to leave you alone here; I pass this letter to your mum earlier this morning after you left your home. I do not want to tell you where I am going but I really do love you. But you don’t need to wait for me if he found some1 better than me. I might or might not come back. I never wished to leave you; I have no choice but to go….. Its been a very nice moments shared with you, I really enjoyed. I will place this memories always in my mind and heart

Long read the letter in disbelief, he cannot believe that Jane is leaving him. He does not know what to do… he felt he lose something very important to him. He felt very lost…. He did not shed any tears… He could not cry. He just merely sits on the bed and stared the stars on his bedroom’s ceiling. He never felt so…… depressed before….

"Ah Boy... dont be say... i can understand....... you have to....."

Mrs Lee went into his room and console him.... Maybe its the first time Shes doin it to him. Long is too numb to feel anything... Soon... Long felt asleep..... He was too tired after the search for Jane the whole day..........
